
Inland Revenue (IR) identified opportunities to build capability among hiring leaders and recruitment panel members, that would boost the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment processes.
The goal was to equip staff with the necessary skills and confidence to independently deliver high-quality, inclusive, and consistent recruitment experiences aligned with IR’s strategic values (Te Pou o te Tangata).
Additionally, IR wanted to enhance its reputation as an excellent employer, encouraging candidates who were initially unsuccessful to feel motivated to apply again in the future and all candidates to spread word about IR as a desirable workplace.
