If your staff are being poached, are you delighted or dismayed?

Some might say you’ve over-trained them because you’ve lost them. But it all comes down to the kind of business you want to run. If you want to stay at the top of your game and be recognised by the market as such, you need to create top talent. 
 
Here’s the real test: if no one wants to poach your staff, why not? What aren’t you doing that you should be? We were chatting to a client about how if they built capability really well, others in the industry might want to poach their staff. They decided that actually that could be a good thing, because if their competitors knew they were the best, so would their customers.
