It’s great to see how the building blocks of the VET Sector reforms known as RoVE are starting to come together. Workforce Development Councils are taking shape, and the Construction and Infrastructure COVE is also underway.
As an Associate to ConCOVE https://concove.ac.nz , we see the intended projects as pivotal to innovation in learning across the sector.
RoVE was well underway before Covid-19 was a thing – little did we know how critical the VET sector changes would be to New Zealand’s recovery from the economic impact of the pandemic.
The Government’s strategy around Covid recovery has as a central plank construction and infrastructure works. ConCOVE’s projects are focused on disruption, learning, productivity, diversity and sustainability. We’re excited to be part of the team that will be guiding thinking on how the VET sector can truly support New Zealand’s recovery.
